Saturday, June 2nd
4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM

On June  2nd, 2018 Trinity Episcopal Church Solebury will once again be hosting  “Lobsterfest, ” an all parish fundraiser to support Mission Philadelphia. Over 20 years ago, Lobsterfest was founded to fund Trinity youth’s annual mission trip to West Philadelphia. Working with local youth, they engaged in creating community gardens and open spaces. Lobsterfest is now a New Hope/Solebury institution feeding over 1000 guests on a Saturday afternoon filled with children’s crafts, pony rides, a bounce house, live music and of course, lobster dinners. Lobsterfest also has a rack of ribs available for all of those BBQ lovers!

In 2017 the parish voted to extend the outreach efforts from the proceeds of Lobsterfest, and fund additional outreach ministries. These include A Woman’s Place, a domestic violence shelter, Fisherman’s Mark in Lambertville, an organization that focuses on community stability, health and wellness, the Lambertville Food Pantry, Network for Victim Assistance, a service that provides guidance on issues relating to personal safety, and Episcopal Community Services, a Philadelphia based social service agency that provides services dealing with the issues of intergenerational poverty in Philadelphia.

Trinity Solebury Episcopal Church believes in the importance of community service and support for those in need. We thank you for your continued patronage of Lobsterfest. For more information, please call Trinity Episcopal Church Solebury at 215-297-5135.
