Coffee Hour Instructions
The ministry of hospitality includes serving as hosts at Coffee Hour. Parish members are asked about once a year to host the Coffee Hour. This is an important part of our ministry to Welcome All People. Please check the alphabetical list for the date you are to serve. If a conflict in your schedule prevents you from serving, find a substitute and notify the Office at 215-297-5135.
Coffee Hours are intended to be informal and relaxed times.
Be in touch with your teammates regarding treats to be supplied. The first person on the list does the purchasing. The other people pay their share of the cost. Please doni t forget to pay your share.
Hosting Coffee Hours involves bring the treats below; preparing them prior to the service, prepare the presentation; assisting with the serving, and cleaning up afterwards. The Kitchen and McArthur Hall are to be left clean following Coffee Hour. DO NOT PUT THE TREATS OUT or the Sunday School will eat them. They have their own snacks.
After the service, please come out during the last hymn and start pouring the coffee or tea to help serve everyone quickly.
See below for a list of supplies you need to bring and those provided for you.
Supplies Provided - In the kitchen and / or Pantry there is coffee (regular and decaf), tea, sugar, sugar substitutes, creamers, sugar bowls, tablecloths, coffee mugs, napkins, stirrers, pitchers and serving trays. During the summer, lemonade mix and paper cups are provided.
